Rehousing & Reintegration Services

Day Shelter

Our Day House, located at 1624 Nicholas St., is a respite for persons who are homeless to get out of the cold and snow in the winter, the sweltering heat in the summer, and the severe weather in between. It is also a place where persons who are homeless are able to get a bite to eat, use the restroom, take a shower, make a phone call, and store their belongings while they go about their business during the day.

Helping homeless persons obtain the services and resources they need in order to break their own personal cycle of homelessness is the main goal of the Day Services Center. Naturally, this takes time…and takes effort…and can only happen by helping one homeless person (or family) at a time.
