During the cold weather months, Siena Francis House will serve as a community “Warming Center”, which will provide a warm, dry place for those with no housing. Access to basic needs (e.g. showers, warm clothes, food and shelter) will be available at the Warming Center.
The Warming Center will be open on any day when the temperature is forecasted to be 20 degrees or below, or pursuant to a weather advisory related to a winter storm watch/warning affecting the Omaha Metro Area.

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (on days open, according to forecast)

Eligibility: Persons experiencing a housing crisis and not checked into any emergency shelter or other housing program
Capacity: 41 individuals
Food: Lunch will be provided between 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Transportation: Siena Francis House’s Warming Center is located two blocks from two Metro Area Transit bus stops. Limited transportation may be available for individuals with transportation barriers.
