Volunteer Appreciation Lunch – Honoring the Heart of Siena Francis House

At Siena Francis House, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. During National Volunteer Month, we gathered to celebrate the incredible individuals and groups who give their time, energy, and compassion to support our mission. Our 2025 Volunteer Appreciation Lunch was especially meaningful as we honored 50 years of service in the Omaha community.

This year, we were proud to recognize the following outstanding contributors:

Individual of the Year: In honor of our 50th Anniversary, we are recognizing all of our weekly volunteers whose consistent dedication ensures that critical services are delivered every day. Your ongoing commitment truly makes our 50 years of impact possible.

Group Volunteer of the Year: Godfather’s Pizza – A partner who goes above and beyond, volunteering regularly and donating pizza every month. Their generosity brings joy and dignity to our guests, creating a special experience they look forward to: pizza night!

Volunteer Hall of Fame Inductees: The Ladwig Family – For over 15 years, they have been a part of our monthly volunteer family. Their long-term commitment reflects the heart and legacy of volunteerism at Siena Francis House.

To each of our 2,600 volunteers: thank you! In 2024, you helped us serve over 3,000 individuals experiencing homelessness, providing hope, stability, and the support they need on their path to safe, permanent housing. Your impact is profound, and we are deeply grateful.
